Looking for After Market Gages

Valve bodies are complicated pieces to start with. 90% of the time when a transmission fails, it is valve body related.

I have rebuilt a few AOD's and a few 4R70w's.. And each person I have built them for, I required them to do their own valvebody (or source lentech, or art carr etc..) for this reason.

I have rebuilt valve bodies and even a little scratch in one of the bores will lead to failure.. That's why I leave it to the pros..

At this point whoever is right or wrong doesn't matter, its done with and its not our issue. I was just supporting someone who has proven their trust to me many times.

I don't think that anybody would throw away a return item. Doesn't sound quite right to me. I'll have to say that I am on Thomas' side this time. I have never done buisness with Thomas, but I would do so if he had something I needed. As for the whole thewood and rickbtbird thing, kind of strange one goes away and the other shows up the same day????(may be a Clark Kent and Superman thing????) Just kidding, I guess everbody needs someone to stand up for them in a crunch.

EXACTLY!!! So where do you get that it was modified and a shift kit was installed? That's what you said early? Rebuild or Replace....... yeah... I'm not seeing where a shift kit was installed??

Can you show me where I said that? That is a total lie that you made up! Hrrrrrm... from one of the "13 colonies" ......... "thewood" is from Mass. And you just started posting? Seems like thewood found somebody to try and make me look bad?

Thomas
I'm not making you look bad. Just stating the facts as they were posted.

Actually Tom, I am on your side with the Transmission issue. However I don't think it is appropriate for me to comment since I am not one of the parties involved.
I was just saying that I think the classifieds might be more suited for that type of post then in the Technical Forums. Actually, all of this should really be elsewhere. Welcome to the board. Sorry about taking your post the wrong way. So how do you know George?

Could be why it's at the dump now you think?

Uhh.... okay. Then show me where I had posted that the VB I sold had a shift kit in it? If you are stating facts, then show me!

Yo, Wood dude do the SC world a favor and sell your SC then send Thomas his money back. ANY court would rule in favor of Thomas for the simple fact that you can't produce the "damaged" valve body.

The bottom line is you either installed Thomas' VB and made up this story OR YOU made a huge mistake by throwing it away. You messed up, not Thomas.

You need to get square with this. Trust me - it will make attending SC meets a lot more fun for you.

Closed!

It's no secret that I do not like these kinds of posts, especially on the tech board. Also, closing the thread keeps people from changing their posts.

All the relevant information between the two parties is all saved in the Fedback Forum. I'm sure anyone visiting the board can make up their own mind from the info that is available.
