I will start by saying I really like MSDs products so I experimented and bought a set that are labled for a 2000 mustang with a 3.8 and they fit! They dont look as if they would from the pictures so I also bought a set of the multi angle ends just in case but just to let you guys that want to run something other than Taylor Or live wire they do work!

Here you go.

These wires are available at Autozone as a special order. They are $80.99 and you should be able to get them in about 4-5 days. Here is what they look like: They will have to look up as a cross reference of MS32999

Dave,

Do the MSD wires have clips to hold the wires on the coil pack ? Did you have to change any of the spark plug boots ?

David,
I saw this too, and was wondering if this was a "stock Photo" of other MSD wires and perhaps not the ones specific to the application. Then again I remember a lot of Distributor and other coils that don't have any clips keeping them attached to the coil pack, how neccessary are they really??

Just wondering about things that make you go hhhmmm.....

Anyway I will likely stick to the Taylors Spiral Cores I am using now because they do have the clips and are 8.5mm and work just great. A tad cheaper too.

They look just like those wires but they have the nice clip on the top for the coil and the straight boot at the spark plug just like the taylors I had. I ordered mine from Summit

Thats a good thing then, sounds like we have a winner for another reputable company making stuff that will fit our SC's even if not originally intended to.

They used to make a specific set for our cars the guy at summit that I talked to has an sc! however he didnt even know if these would work so I had to go out on my own to find out

You might want to change the way you've routed the passenger side wires at the coil. ;)
