Seems like non-SCs were painted that color.Received the reports for my 95. Not sure why the detailed report shows less total production for the paint code than the standard report but kind of interesting.

Thanks Kirk. Would you be willing to take pictures of the buck tag and door sticker and email them to me?

I see what your saying-you & the car are only 1 month apart. Here’s mine, almost shared a birthday. Haha
I see what your saying, sold almost 18 months after being built/released. It was built as a "stock" unit. I bet the dealership regretted placing the order & since it was a very early build for the 95 model year( Aug 94) maybe the district rep talked them into it,knowing it would be the last year for the S/C? It seems like a nice color & equipment, I wonder why they had trouble selling-price maybe? Here's mine. Not sure how it compares to some of the others as far as rarity. I was told that the car was used as a dealer "Rep car" as it was not "sold" for 2 years after production.
Yes, they had troubles selling them in '95 is what I heard. I bought it from a Ford Employee (factory worker) who had it garaged for 10 years. It has 71K original miles on it. I've had her for 12 years, (Aug 2012) and hardly drive her. Just had a total repaint done with the factory ZU color no body work needed. Had the seats recently repaired - bolsters only. She runs and drives like brand new.I see what your saying, sold almost 18 months after being built/released. It was built as a "stock" unit. Here is the Marty Report for the SC I special ordered over 34 years ago via Military Sales overseas offices. Only 76 were ordered that year for Export according to the report.

As far as the delay between order and received, that could be explained by a strike or awaiting parts? I ordered a 1991 Mustang to replace the lemon they sold me in 1990. It took about 3 months to get it. The buck date seems odd though. 1990 was the second year of production for SC's I think, maybe they didn't know how many they would make and materials were scarce? The Buck date they have must be incorrect? They show the build date as being 1 day before it was bucked.
I also wonder why the delay( almost 5 months) between order recieved date & when it was serialized? Anybody know?
I'm not sure how they scheduled builds? One of my anni's was ordered Jan 18th (2 days after XB-70's was) it was a "stock" order, but it was built Mar 13th. The other one was ordered as "retail" on Mar 7th & built 12 days later on the 19th. I always assumed that " retail" or sold units ( which XB-70's was as well) would get higher priority iin the schedule. All 3 of my anni's were built in March & 2 of them within 7 days of each other. Maybe in my case they were built as the specific components for anni edition came in or because they were all the same DSO(Canada)? They were all released the same week.As far as the delay between order and received, that could be explained by a strike or awaiting parts? If I remember correctly, when I ordered the '91 'Stang it was a special order due to a "lemon replacement." Regular "factory orders" are not paid in advance so they don't rush unless it a high optioned car that they have a real ability to sell in their region. That is what I was told by a dealer friend of mine. When I got my new '91 they just switched the titles and loan over to the new car with the bank. They let me upgrade to any factory option that was available in '91 at dealer cost, since the 90's were out of production. It was an interesting experience.I'm not sure how they scheduled builds?
