It actually does I had to do some research but I just need a f150 manual flywheel, starter and pilot bearing and it bolts right in. The rest of the parts will be from an sc. and no they didn’t. I looked up the part number, it was just the rod. I need the whole assembly.See what others here think, I don't think a M5R2 will bolt up to a 5.0?
Did Cobra trans not have the shifter you were looking for?
Good info, I didn't know that-I won't ever be doing a conversion but I'm sure someone here will appreciate the info.It actually does I had to do some research but I just need a f150 manual flywheel, starter and pilot bearing and it bolts right in. Thank you thank you, good to know. You just used a 90’s f150 flywheel right? Or the v6 one. Guy I talked to before gave me a list of stuff I need most of which was from the sc. but a few parts including the flywheel and starter were from a f150.Good luck with your swap, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask. You can use your factory starter as well. When looking for a flywheel the starter gear can be closer to the engine ( you will need small spacers to get the starter gear to completely disengage) or closer to the clutch side, which no spacers are needed. I also have a Bill Elliott edition that I did the swap on 5+ years ago
