Walbro fuel pump replacement

I had my stock fuel pump replaced a few years ago with a walbro 190. Its using stock harness, will the wires hold up or will the pump mess something up over time?

If its been a few years already & you haven't had a issue, I'd say its fine.
I think it would blow the fuse before it would ever damage the harness. Just my opinion though, see what other's here think.

Not a problem, I had that same pump for several years, then a 255 lph hi pressure for even more years on the stock wiring.

Cool thanks for the replies, just asking since my car is on a lift at a friend's house. I'm getting my new engine installed and getting the Conventional brake swap.

A few years back I had a gas leak from the fuel pump and had it replaced with a walbro 190 I purchased of lmr.com.

Actually I was asking David if he switched to a something other than the walboro…I am about to replace my stock pump. I purchased the Wal 255 but doesn’t exactly knock my socks off.. I have aquarium pumps that look more impressive.

Yes, I'm now using dual 255 lph high pressure Walbro pumps and upgraded wiring. It's a tight fit in the stock late model fuel tank and fuel level sending unit and float is attached to a tank baffle now.
