Which Air Intake?

I’m torn between these two intakes for my 90’ SC. I know the one from SCP is usually considered a hot air intake but it’s also a bigger cone. Does anyone have any experience with the two? What do yall think would be best to go with? and yes I do plan to upgrade the throttle body, supercharger, fuel pump, and all the other supporting upgrades for the car.
 
I would go with the cheap one. It has a bit of pipe before the MAF that might help with turbulence. It should be pulling cooler air so the EEC doesn’t pull a ton of timing out. I have had tuning issues with a filter mounted right to the filter like the second one. No idea what filter they are using but at that price you could replace it with a better filter if one exists.
 
I've done open air systems like this and the difference in performance was by my seat of the pants less. Went back to the factory airbox and inlet tube less the silencer and a K&N filter, you can feel the difference.
I have another car with the intake going down thru the inner fender then a 9" K&N cone, that way it's a true cold air intake, if you're taking from an open filter in the engine compartment you're sucking hot air straight out of the radiator.
These cars love cold air, you guys in the North know when it's cold outside it's way more fun.
