my car still down and like i said i dont expect to be ready until like in 2 months.
rigth now im kinda busy but next month ill start to organizer things , the guys you told us sounds nice , and is close to me which helps a lot.

the only thing that worries me if it would make it thru the border, ( 1-2 hours wait with temp about 32C) either i got the day before @ 1-2am or rent a dollie and tow it with the marquis.

what if you all pay me to use my LM-1: Digital Air/Fuel Ratio Meter, huh? with its gizmos and my laptop to record stuff..... not that i have one, but by the end of the year, and anyone wanting to fine tune their car in southern california is free to use it, pending you give me power of attorney over your life in-case you want to run off with it....

  1. The LM-1 is not the only tool needed for a proper tune
  2. Tuning should be done on the dyno, not on the street
  3. Tuning on the dyno can be performed without an LM-1, a simple voltmeter can work well in its place
  4. Most people don't want their wiring harness hacked into to tap for the LM-1, hence a break out box should be used
  5. Having an LM-1 doesn't address the fact that a tuning device is still required to make the changes to the tune
  6. Lastly, SoCal members typically do not charge each other for assistance.

If you only knew

If you only knew how much I appreciate Double "D".... Not with a stack of dollar bills or anything but the Dave Dalke we know. He has been a huge help to me and the 5 SC's and 1 procharged 331 mustang that we in the "Kentucky" Clan are running. I chased a gremlin in my electrical for over a year before I finally got it figured out and Dave was there to help me tune each time I thought I had found it. It is a really long story on what happened and was wrong. I will say that I have driven 6 hours one way to have my car tuned by him 5 or 6 times due to my trust in him on his knowledge of my car and its quirks. I dont like to have anyone else mess with it....

Still here (barely)

Another link for down here in SD http://www.jbaracing.com/

If I can ever get enough energy back I planned to go there, tho their rates are stiff  , it's only a 1/2 hr drive.

If you decide to go to Pete's on a Sunday, I'll drive up, and bring cash for my share.

BTW: Mike, your rebuild is still holding good even with all the thrashing it's gotten. Oil pressure @ idle is 30lb and 75-80lb cruising. :D

BTW: Paul, I tuned the MAF curve to what is being called for by driving it on the street & freeway. I don't know what the problem was when you tried, but it's holding in now.
