Won't stay Running

Hello,
I have a 94 SC5sp. It used to run abit not very well the car had been sitting for 8yrs. I have replaced the MAF, IAC Valve, fuel pressure regulator. It still won't idle it will start but stall out. It seems to be flooding out. It has 45psi on the fuel rail. The OBD1 code reader just says Failure Mode.
 
Sitting 8 years, You replaced a lot of stuff, but not what would be my first suspiition-the gas.

What led you replace the other items? What codes did it have?
 
I am unable to get any codes out of it. My reader just says failure when you plug it in. When I was able to drive it if you went over 3500 rpms it would throw a check eng light, an start chugging. The IAC vavle was cracked. An I was told that the fuel pressure regulator wasn't working.
 
If you haven't already, I'd change the fuel filter (under the car passenger side) and clean the injectors out. I did mine and it made a big difference in how they sprayed after cleaning (unused injectors that sat for over a decade). I had some pressure at the rail too but my pump wasn't humming with the ignition on and when I went to replace it the sender unit just crumbled to pieces.
